Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a food production and distribution system that directly connects farmers and consumers. In short; people buy “shares” of a farm’s harvest in advance and then receive a portion of the crops as they’re harvested.
Why join a CSA?
The CSA model gives you a deeper connection with your food and and helps foster a more direct relationship with your farmer.
By investing early in the season, you ensure that we have the seed, amendments, and equipment necessary to have a successful season.
Join us next season!
The 2020 season is now over, but in 2021 we will be returning with a great selection of delicious produce for our CSA members. Check back for details about signing up in early 2021!
What to expect
CSA is great for people that like to cook with a wide variety of produce. Each weekly share will contain a rotating seasonal selection of 5-8 different vegetables, good for a family of 4 trying to add more variety to their meals or 2 avid veggie lovers. Shares tend to be smaller in the spring, becoming more abundant in the summer and fall.
How it works
The CSA subscription runs for 20 weeks from June 2nd through October 13th. Shares will be available to pick up from the farm Tuesdays 4-6pm, or at one of our weekly farmers markets.
With your purchase, you will receive a weekly email detailing what will be included in your next share. If you give advance notice that you will not be able to pick up your share, you will get a credit for that week to spend later. Subscriptions can be payed in full $400 or 3 payments ($200 deposit, $100 payment due May 15th and July 15th). To purchase please contact at firstname.lastname@example.org or (971) 978-6462.
