
If you are like us, you want no part of the inhumane meat industry, but feel that meat is an important part of your diet, as it participation in the cycle of life.
Our heirloom pasture pigs are on the small side, with a full share coming in at about ninety pounds hanging weight for a young animal and one hundred and eighty for a full grown boar (your choice). Once you make your deposit you can call to let us know what size works best for you. Half shares also available.
Our pigs are born here and die here, never being subject to transportation or other forms of stress. They live peaceful happy lives and are harvested in the most humane way possible.
Once harvested, it is taken to a USDA certified butcher where it is hung, then cut to your order (or stardard cuts if you prefer). You may order sausage, ground meat, bacon, and ham be made (for more information, click here).
Your $100 non-refundable deposit holds your share
The hanging weight per pound price is $5, there is also a $90 slaughter fee ($45 for half share), plus $1.05 for the butchering and wrapping. Additional cost to have ham, bacon, or sausage made. Check with the butcher for details.
